Cellist Monty Lawson is in his 25th year performing with the Signature Symphony (previously the Oklahoma Sinfonia). Monty is a Stillwater native and a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Music. He is proud to have been a member of the Bartlesville Symphony for many years. His wife Valerie and son Colin are both violinist. During non-musical hours, Monty is an Electrical Engineer at FlightSafety International in Broken Arrow.
